General Medicine Department
Overview
This medical college is started in 2015. This medical college is having drainage of patient from Tumsar, Gondia and Bhandara. This General Medicine is the largest clinical department. It comprises male medical ward female medical ward, well equipped intensive care unit. In the intensive care unit at present 6 beded occupancy is 99% and patients suffering from acute myocardial infarction are closely monitored. Patients of oregano-phosphorous poisoning CVA, snack bite, etc in respiratory paralysis are ventilated on advanced ventilators.
Each day, physicians on call in the department care for more than 150 patients on an outpatient basis, admit approx, 25 patients in 24 hour to our hospital services and perform necessary procedures.
FACILITIES
The department has 4 clinical demonstration rooms with capacity of 30 students & also has audio & visual equipments. Department also has separated departmental library with capacity of 10 student has 174 books & 4 Journal. Department is divided into 3 units. All 3 units are regularly doing emergency & routine clinical work including OPD duties & ward duties. There is well equipped ICU and kidney unit with Haemodialysis Machine
SERVICE PROVIDED
Daily 1 unit is on call other unit is doing ward duties. Emergency unit attends all emergency cases & ICU, FMW, MMW & Kidney ward, including OPD Patients of that day.
